This time the drawing turned out to be very different than expected. Ready to face the challenge of collecting candy with the family while trying to capture something on the sketchbook from the Three Kings' ride through the streets of Málaga, while awaiting came the news that made all of us freeze. And then, the controversial statements of the highest municipal authority sayng that these "are things that inevitably occur"; and also the decision to continue with the ride...
ResponderEliminarTriste, mucho.
Totalmente de acuerdo, Sergio. La cabalgata ya no será nunca igual. Un saludo.
EliminarCuando me enteré me quedé helada... :(
Gracias, Chagua. Un abrazo.
EliminarIt's too sad thinking of such a tragic event like an accident occurred to a child, it even hurts more as it happened during Epiphany, a day that has always been so loved by children. Your sketches reflect life in all its contrasting aspects, so it's natural that they also tell about such bad news. And this sketch gives me the feeling of sadness and respect of all the crowd in front of the tragedy, to the point that I can almost hear the silence in the street.
ResponderEliminarThank you, Lucia. It was a shocking and moving moment... I doubted if I should post this drawing, but then I thought it could be my way of expressing the deep pain we felt in our city.
