Un día en Sevilla / a day at Seville

Sevilla, view from Triana

Due to administrative reasons, on Thursday I spent the day in Seville. The trip was something of a meeting with an old friend, because I was lucky enough to live there a good part of my life, and many places in the city are associated with particularly strong memories: the university years, old friends ... Also my first urban sketches, made in the first year of my studies in architecture.
I have returned to Seville in many occasions, but never had the time to do it with the notebook in hand. Taking advantage of the fact that at noon I had already completed the bussiness that had led me there, I spent the afternoon drawing.

It was not possible to be sketching by the streets of Seville and not calling Inma Serrano, who, as you know, lives there. We spent a great time urban sketching. She did this wonderful portrait of me. Unfortunately she was not so well drawn by me...

  3. Thank you for sharing these beautiful sketches, Luis! I've loved so much Sevilla in the few days I've been there two years ago! In your drawings I ffind again the same liveliness, colours, and beauty.
